A named designer signs everything
Wraith is a productized design service operated by Tethys. AI does the drafting, inside your existing design system, and a named senior designer reviews and signs every deliverable before it reaches you. That second half is the product. The first half is only why it moves quickly.
What Wraith is
A monthly subscription, not a project engagement and not a tool. You write a requirement in the client portal, it enters your queue, and it moves into a slot when one is free. Standard requirements target 48 hours from submission to a reviewed deliverable. Deliverables land on your system, in your own Figma file and, where you connect a repository, as pull requests on your own repo.
Enzo E, founder and principal designer, is the designer on every account and does the final review on everything. AI accelerates the draft: faster turnaround, more on-system variations, early inconsistency checks. It never has the final say.
Who it is for
The service is narrow on purpose, and the fit is easier to describe than to market.
- Product teams with a system already. Real components, real token names, real conventions. The system is what constrains the draft, so the more of one you have, the more on-system the first pass is.
- Teams with more design work than design capacity. A steady queue of screens, flows and system work that keeps getting deferred, rather than one large redesign with a fixed end date.
- Buyers who want one accountable person. The same designer reviews everything, so there is one name attached to quality rather than a rotating pool.
If you consistently need more than two requirements moving at once, an in-house designer or a full agency is the honest answer, and your designer will say so rather than stretch the subscription past what it does well.
How the service works
The loop
- You submit a requirementclient portal
- Written in your own words. It enters your queue, and you set the order of that queue, so priorities are yours to change at any time.
- AI drafts against your systemon-system, not generic
- The inputs are your components, tokens, patterns and codebase conventions, so the draft is already on-system before a human touches it.
- A named designer reviews and signsevery deliverable
- Not spot checks and not a sample. The reviewer can override the draft, the draft cannot override the reviewer, and nothing reaches you without passing that gate.
- You approve, or send it backunlimited revisions in the slot
- If a deliverable is not right, you say what is off and it goes straight back into the same slot at no extra cost. The slot frees up only when you are happy.
What a subscription costs
Studio is $3,995 a month and Scale is $6,995 a month. The only difference is concurrent request slots: Studio has one, Scale has two. The designer, the review and the 48 hour target are the same on both, and both are month to month with no contract. Invite as many teammates as you like; what is capped is concurrent slots, not headcount.
The point of view
Two things are usually sold as opposites: design that is fast, and design somebody is accountable for. AI made the first one cheap and, left alone, made the second one worse, because unreviewed output entering production is how a design system quietly stops being one.
So the position is deliberately unglamorous. Let the model do the part it is genuinely good at, drafting many on-system options quickly, and put a human gate in front of the part it is not, which is judgment about whether the thing is actually right. Throughput is then limited by review capacity rather than drawing hours, which is a better limit to have, and it is an honest one to publish.
The corollary is disclosure. A service that quietly uses AI while implying otherwise is selling something different from what it says. You should know AI is in the loop, know what it does, and know who is accountable for the result.
What we do not do
- We do not train models on your work. Your files, requests and design system are not used to train models, and nothing from your workspace is reused as context for another client's work.
- We do not claim audits we have not passed. Wraith holds no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or equivalent certification today, and the privacy policy says so in the same words.
- We do not lock the work up. Deliverables already live in your Figma file and your repository. Cancel from the Stripe customer portal and there is nothing to migrate.
